This is a picture book adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s beloved Stray Birds poetry collection. Thirty-five poems are selected and rearranged by theme, each is paired with original illustrations that capture their mood. A small bird character threads these images into a continuous journey—one that begins with its release from a cage and unfolds into a quiet exploration of freedom, love, and mortality.
